Dill Essential Oil
The dill plant, Anethum graveolens, is an annual that is commonly grown in herb, vegetable, and flower gardens. The plant usually grows anywhere from three to five feet tall. The stems of the plant are stiff and hollow and covered with aromatic, blue-green leaves that are separated into thin, thread-like segments. The flowers of the plant are yellow and grow in flattened, compound umbels. doTERRA Dill essential oil is extracted from the seed of the plant.

Uses:
Add 1 drop to 4 fluid ounces and consume daily for digestive support

DILL ESSENTIAL OIL RECIPES

1.
Quinoa Dill Summer Salad
Ingredients: 6 sweet baby bell peppers, 4 mini cucumbers, 2 cups uncooked quinoa, 1 pound cherry/grape tomatoes, ½ cup , eta cheese, ¼ cup Greek olives
Dill Vinaigrette: 2 drops Dill oil, 1 pinch of salt, ¾ cup apple cider vinegar, ½ cup Greek yogurt, ¼ , easpoon onion powder, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil

​Instructions: Cook quinoa and allow to cool. Cut vegetables and add olives, cheese, and quinoa. Mix all ingredients . ogether until smooth texture is achieved. Toss with dressing and place in the refrigerator to chill.

Cucumber Dill Hummus
Ingredients: 2 drops Dill oil, 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons lemon juice , 2 tablespoons tahini, 2 , ups chickpeas or garbanzo beans, 1 large garlic clove, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ cucumber, skin on, ¼ teaspoon , racked black pepper, Dill sprigs, for garnish, 
​Instructions: Combine ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth. Taste test, and add more garlic, tahini, salt, olive oil, lemon juice to desired flavor. Transfer to serving bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Garnish with Dill sprig.
